This band has been out for some time, but this song and vid are amaizing. you can watch it below. it was done by iamslam.myspace.com, he took a bunch (about 1800) digital photos and meshed them together to make stop motion movies. quite fun

i love this band, check it out

hipster backlash backlash is the new hipster backlash

So about the new of Montreal album Skeletal Lamping out on the indie lable Polyvinyl...

Let it never be said that Kevin Barnes left music, but that the music left him.

new acoustic broken social scene (almost crimes)

It's been some time since i've heard new broken social scene. That is, songs written for the band, played by the band. Not a side project.

Keeping that in mind here is a song we all know and love, but a lovely acoustic ver.

broken social scene - almost crimes (acoustic)

so when is the next broken social scene LP comming out? Who knows, what i REALLY want is for them to come back to Texas, and bring their birls with them.

The internet is funny again

If you haven't stumbled upon it yet, Funny or Die will change your life. It's better than YouTube because it's funny, so funny I spent most of my day on it and now I'm fucking blogging about it. What else can I tell you? It's the best thing since FARK, and shockwave games. To make it even better Zach Galifianakais, Will Ferrell, and john c. reilly post exclusive "home made" videos on there.

This is one of my favorites with Michael Cera and Zach Galifianakis

best cover you'll see this month

Bon Iver and Bowerbirds Cover Sarah Siskind ( the original -http://www.myspace.com/sarahsiskind )

perfect harmony, beautiful arrangement and take on the original. i love this, where hearing it is one thing, but being able to see it unfold is quite another. check it out.
